Since 1882, the Guthrie Center Fire Department (GCFD) has protected the life and property of the residents of the city, as well as the rural residents residing in areas outside the city. The fire department provides fire protection over 255 square miles of Guthrie County. Our mission is to safely protect and serve the County as professionally staffed volunteers.
