Applications are not being accepted at this time by Guthrie Center Municipal Utilities nor the City of Guthrie Center.

When applications are being accepted feel free to print out the aquatic center job application form or a seasonal  job application form. Applications can be mailed to 102 N. 1st Street, Guthrie Center, IA 50115. 

If you would like to be a lifeguard you must complete Red Cross Lifesaving classes prior to beginning employment.  Classes can be taken at the Carroll Recreational Center in Carroll, Iowa (712) 792-5400, at the McCreary Community Building in Perry, Iowa (515) 465-5621, and at the Atlantic YMCA (712) 243-3934 during the school year.
