CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
     Guthrie Center has a very active Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber plans many events throughout the year listed on the Calendar page.
COUNTY SEAT
     Guthrie Center is the county seat of Guthrie County. The  courthouse provides convenient and efficient access to government offices.
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
     The Guthrie Center Area Development Corporation was founded in 1984 with its main purpose to stimulate industrial, commercial, and recreational development in Guthrie Center. The eight-member board also assists existing businesses within the community to compete successfully.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
     Guthrie Center is home to two lending institutions. Both Guthrie County State Bank and Peoples Trust & Savings Bank pride themselves on being progressive, supportive, and innovative in working with business and industry.
MOTELS & RESTAURANTS
     There is one quaint motel within the city limits.  A complete variety of restaurants are available in town.
NEWSPAPER
     Guthrie Center Newspapers is a locally owned and operated central printing plant and newspaper which covers the latest news, events and sports in the area and around the state. The weekly publication of "The Guthrie Center Times" is a professional quality paper with small-town integrity. Please visit Guthrie Center Times for the latest news and information. 
CABLE TV/HIGH SPEED INTERNET
